Vietnamese Pho Beef Noodle Soup

One of Vietnam’s most famous recipes, Pho (pronounced ‘fuh’) is the ultimate Vietnamese comfort food. The soup is made fragrant with ginger, coriander, star anise and cinnamon, and is usually served with sliced beef and rice noodles, bean sprouts, basil, lime and chillies to taste. Chicken and pork also work well with this dish.
